I had the most amazing weekend getaway in Montreál this past weekend, with one of my friends from New York!! I had never been to Montreál before, and I loved exploring all of the cool neighborhoods and trying out new restaurants and foods. The city was so beautiful and has me craving a trip to Paris now! These photos were taken near McGill University. We stumbled upon this area while wandering around the streets, and I’m so glad that we found this spot! The buildings next to the fall foliage was absolutely stunning! If you’re looking for a weekend getaway destination, I highly recommend a trip to Montreál!
Hello!! As I’m writing this blog post it’s raining outside and I’m cuddled up with a blanket, apple cider, and the cutest acorn candle burning beside me. It’s a perfect fall day! The air is crisp outside and I just love it. I still haven’t gone apple picking yet but am determined to do it before fall ends. It’s still somewhat green over here in Washington, but I can definitely tell that the fall colors are taking over. One thing I have loved doing these past few weeks has just been walking around my neighborhood and exploring new parks. I love bundling up and going for walks throughout this time of year.
So I know I already posted some of my picks from the ShopBop sale (you can find that post here), but I have been constantly browsing the sale and have to share more of my favorites! Don’t forget to use the code EOTS17 to get the discount!!! I’m pretty sure that I looked through the entire website creating this, but it was so worth it and I have so many things I want to buy now! Today is the last day of the sale, so shop fast.
Thank you for reading & happy shopping!!!
In honor of the first day of fall, I have another post for today! If you missed my post from earlier, click here. Every year I think of a million things that I want to do for fall, but never get around to half of them. I’m determined to change that this year, so I made myself a fall bucket list! Most of the list isn’t in any particular order, except for the first one: apple picking. I’ve never gone apple picking before and have always wanted to go! It seems like such a perfect thing to do at this time of year, and I am 90% sure that I’m going this weekend..yay!!!
I could not be more excited while writing this post, because fall is finally here!!! Fall is my absolute favorite season. I first started noticing the leaves starting to change last week and I can’t even explain how happy I got. The summer weather in Seattle was amazing, but the thought of getting all cozy and wearing cute coats & boots sounds like so much fun!!
One of my favorite parts about blogging has definitely been making connections and meeting new people. So when February Violet Photography reached out to me, I was so excited to meet and work with her! We wandered around Seattle and got so many cute pictures. Violet is such a sweet girl and she takes amazing pictures, so if you need senior photos or wedding photos-contact her!
Today’s post is my last from New York Fashion Week (until next season). I can truly say that I had the best time ever and I am already so excited for my next trip (my bank account is not as excited as I am!). The outfit I’m wearing in today’s post was my favorite from my trip. I’m wearing the Style Mafia Locka Top from ShopBop. The best part about this top was definitely the flared sleeves, they are so fun! My skirt is the Wool Flannel Ruffle Skirt from JCrew in Vintage Berry. I am always looking for a pop of color in my looks, and this skirt seriously stood out. After reading in tons of fashion magazines about how pink was going to be a trend for this fall, I was so excited to see tons of bloggers and people walking around NYFW wearing different shades of pink. Need some inspiration? I’ve linked one of my Pinterest boards here with some style ideas, the beginning pins all of which highlight one of the trends for this season (pink + pastels!).
SoHo has always been one of my favorite parts of Manhattan. Every street has so many cool, unique looking buildings! On my way to the Tracy Reese fashion show, my friend Francesca and I stopped to take some photos in SoHo. I’m wearing a ton of different pieces layered on top of each other. I originally did this because I was heading to the airport after the fashion show, and didn’t have room in my suitcase for this stuff..ha! It actually worked out pretty well, because I liked the end result enough to wear it to the show! I’m wearing a patterned dress from Zara, with a shirt that is also from Zara layered on-top, and a vest from BBDakota (similar, in grey, here). My shoes are from Nordstrom and they are Jeffrey Campbell! I did change my shoes before heading to the airport (and pretty much broke my suitcase in the process).
I made it to New York for NYFW!!! It feels so good to be back! I’m so excited to attend some fashion shows, see friends, and eat all of the food that I’ve missed so much! These photos were taken while walking around Midtown this morning. I”m wearing a red jumpsuit from Anthropologie, similar styles here and here. The clutch I’m holding is from JCrew, and I have been seeing so many similar ones around lately- so get it while you can! I’m wearing gold wedges from Aerosoles that are on sale for $23!!! I wanted something comfortable for the morning, since I know my feet are going to be killing me after I change into my heels for tonights show…so these were perfect.
As I talked about in my last post, I am obsessed with my new backpack from The Daily Edited! Finding a backpack is always the first thing I like to do when starting the back-to-school process (aside from shopping the Nordstrom anniversary sale). Next, I go school supply shopping. I went to Target to get my school supplies, since they are super affordable and have a huge selection! I have linked all of the supplies that I got below! I also make sure to keep my favorite lipstick (milan mode by MAC) and a phone charger in my backpack!
