Sweater dresses are one of my favorite ways to look cute yet still be comfy in the fall/winter seasons. When I saw the one I’m wearing in today’s post, I immediately had to buy it and I am so glad that I did. The material is pretty thick which makes it still warm. Since it’s been getting so cold lately I’m so happy to finally have another item that will keep me warm.
With Christmas, endless holiday parties, and just the overall craziness of the holiday season, November and December always seem to be super expensive months for me. On top of all of the necessary spending, I am always online shopping and trying to find new outfits to wear throughout the season. As much as I would love to tell myself that I will cut back on shopping in order to save money, realistically that won’t be happening anytime soon…so instead I have searched the internet and found some super cute tops for you (and myself) that are all under $30.
I had the most amazing weekend getaway in Montreál this past weekend, with one of my friends from New York!! I had never been to Montreál before, and I loved exploring all of the cool neighborhoods and trying out new restaurants and foods. The city was so beautiful and has me craving a trip to Paris now! These photos were taken near McGill University. We stumbled upon this area while wandering around the streets, and I’m so glad that we found this spot! The buildings next to the fall foliage was absolutely stunning! If you’re looking for a weekend getaway destination, I highly recommend a trip to Montreál!
Whenever I’m in a rush or not in the mood to pick out an outfit, I love throwing on a casual dress with boots. It looks dressy & put together, yet doesn’t require much effort! The dress I’m wearing in today’s post is from Zara and I got it a few years ago. I paired it with a cardigan from Nordstrom (similar here and here) and my Tory Burch riding boots. I was also wearing these Anthropologie sunglasses!!
Hello!! I am so excited about todays post. I absolutely love my outfit (details below!) and felt that it was so fun to wear for a walk through a park nearby where I live. It’s still not very cold here, so I have been taking advantage of lightweight dresses/sweaters and boots! I love a good pair of black tights paired with a dress in the winter, but I’m not ready for them quite yet. The reason I’m so excited about todays post isn’t because of my outfit though, it’s because I have a special announcement for you guys!!
Happy Friday!!! I’m so excited that it’s the weekend. I started off this weekend by doing a photoshoot at the cutest place I stumbled upon while driving around my neighborhood! I absolutely love spontaneous photoshoots in random new places. In today’s post I am wearing the BP. Corduroy A-Line Miniskirt and the Mimi Chica Floral Mesh Bell Sleeve Crop Top, both of which are from Nordstrom. Thanksgiving is about a month away, and I think this would be a perfect Thanksgiving outfit! I have also linked other holiday outfit ideas in a Lookbook at the bottom of this post.
Hello!! I’m so excited that it’s Wednesday and to share today’s post with you all :). I truly believe that adding a simple black dress to your wardrobe is such a great investment to make each fall/winter season. It can be re-styled so many different ways and will never go out of style. I love having pieces in my wardrobe that can be re-worn, yet will still look different!
Hello and happy Monday! I am so excited because at the end of next week I will be leaving for a weekend trip to Montreal. I’ve ordered a few things online for the trip and I can’t wait to share them with you! Normally I am so last minute when it comes to packing, but I really wanted to be prepared this time so I have been planning out my outfits. The beret that I’m wearing in today’s post will definitely be packed in my suitcase…because it reminds me of France and they speak French in Montreal! I’m hoping that this week goes by fast, but I have a feeling that it won’t since I want it to be next week so badly. I’ve been passing the time by exploring fun parks and going for walks. The photos from this photoshoot were taken at a park nearby where I live! I had never been there before and instantly got so excited by all of the beautiful leaves and colors everywhere.
Happy Wednesday!! I’m so excited that it’s Wednesday, because I have a four day weekend! I’m kicking off my long weekend by sharing one of my favorite looks for fall. These photos were taken a few weeks ago with Madeleine Wilson Photography and I absolutely love them! Regardless of the season, I am always a fan of bright colors. I love standing out and making a statement with my outfit, which I feel this sweater totally does. The bright pink definitely makes me stand out. The sweater is also SO comfortable. I felt like I was wrapped up in a cozy blanket while wearing it. I love wearing big sweaters as dresses! The boots I’m wearing are from Goodnight Macaroon. They are perfect for fall and worked great with this outfit. I also worn them on my 19th Birthday with a blue gingham dress. That blog post can be found here. Bold accessories, specifically earrings, have been such a trend this season, so when I found the Ettika Drop Earring on Revolve I knew I had to get them. They are a lot heavier than I imagined, but they are so much fun to wear!!
I finally went apple picking and it was everything I dreamed it would be and more! I went this past weekend and it was a beautiful crisp fall day. I had a wonderful time wandering through the rows of trees and picking/eating apples! Apple picking was the top of my fall bucket list this year and I am thrilled that I finally got to do it. Fall has been an absolute dream this year and I have been loving it. From pumpkin patches, cozying up in layers, to apple picking – I have almost completed my bucket list.
