As someone who tries to travel as much as she possibly can (while still being a full-time student), I am always looking for items that will make packing/traveling easier. Whether it’s a new cosmetic bag (i’ve had foundation bottles explode in mine so many times!!) or an eye-mask so you can still sleep when the person in the window-seat decides to have the window shade open…I’ve got tons of gift ideas for the traveler in your life!

I had the most amazing weekend getaway in Montreál this past weekend, with one of my friends from New York!! I had never been to Montreál before, and I loved exploring all of the cool neighborhoods and trying out new restaurants and foods. The city was so beautiful and has me craving a trip to Paris now! These photos were taken near McGill University. We stumbled upon this area while wandering around the streets, and I’m so glad that we found this spot! The buildings next to the fall foliage was absolutely stunning! If you’re looking for a weekend getaway destination, I highly recommend a trip to Montreál!
The summer before 7th grade I went on a road trip with some family to California. During the trip, we stopped at Fashion Island in Newport Beach…where we ended up finding a pet store and getting my current dog, Charli (a white maltese)! Since then I have always loved coming to this outdoor shopping mall, so when I was in California this week I made sure to stop at Fashion Island to do some shopping. I didn’t get a dog this time, but I did get this adorable dress in the photos below (as well as the shoes!!). The dress is from Nordstrom. I had seen it a few weeks ago on the website and liked it, but forgot about it until I noticed it on my trip. I immediately bought it without even trying it on (oops) but thankfully it fit great and I absolutely love it. The one-shoulder is so fun and the dress as a whole is way different than anything I own. Just as the description on Nordstrom’s website stated, the ruffles “swish and sway with every step” which makes it so much fun to wear!! My shoes are from Aerosoles. I have way too many pairs of gold wedges already, but I forgot them at home…so I had a good excuse to buy another pair (and they were on sale!!)! These ones are the perfect height. They’re not too tall but definitely add a little bit of height. They are also super comfortable! That was definitely necessary after walking all around Disneyland.
After returning to NYC after my birthday getaway in The Bahamas, I was so busy with other birthday festivities that I forgot to post two different outfit posts I had planned-so I will be posting one today and the other within the next few days. The trip was so much fun, and looking back on it gets me so excited to return someday!
Hello! So after attending the Create Cultivate Maui Pop-Up last night (which was amazing!!) my friend Jolene and I were back in the hotel room relaxing. We weren’t planning on leaving the room again, until we looked outside and realized that the sunset was amazing. We threw on swimsuits, grabbed my camera and sprinted (not even kidding) outside and into the ocean for an impromptu photoshoot. The water was surprisingly super warm.
Hello! 🙂 The weather was absolutely beautiful today in Maui -so I had to treat myself to another snow cone…oops! I spent the day in this one-piece swimsuit from ShopBop. They don’t have the same color available anymore but they have it in neon green-and a similar color (but different brand) here. I love that one-pieces are in style this year (especially neon ones)!! I haven’t worn one since I was little, but now that they are back in style I don’t plan on putting mine away anytime soon.
I’m in Hawaii with my friend Jolene! I booked my ticket a few days ago, after hearing about the Create + Cultivate Maui Pop-Up. I am so excited to attend the event on Saturday and learn tons of new things! My favorite blogger Amber Fillerup of Barefoot Blonde is one of the speakers…which is what originally sold me on the event. Until then, I can be found lounging by the pool/beach with a virgin strawberry daiquiri in one hand and a snow cone in the other 🙂
These photos were taken yesterday in The Bahamas!! I love it here so much and never want to leave. The last time I was here I was in 4th grade, so I barely remember it. I’m here to celebrate my birthday which is on Monday, May 1st. Most of yesterday was spent swimming/going down all of the slides at Atlantis and enjoying the sun!
I had tea at The Plaza today with friends and it was absolutely amazing! I took some photos with my friend Francesca afterwards, and we explored the beautiful hotel and walked around outside of it! I have walked past the famous Plaza hotel many times, but had never been inside of it until today. I was amazed by the beautiful details of every aspect of the hotel!
Hi everyone! I’ve been so busy with midterms so I haven’t been able to post much…but after this upcoming week I will be on spring break so I can finally get back to consistently blogging! I went to lunch yesterday with two of my friends and we took some pictures after! It was soo cold but so worth it!
