One of the things that Seattle is most known for, is it’s food. & for good reason! Since living in the greater Seattle area for the majority of my life, I have tried most of the well-known restaurants and recently took a food-tour in downtown. If you’re visiting (or just love food) definitely take one at Pike Place. I have found so many dessert places that I absolutely love and can’t wait to share with you in today’s post!
with locations in both Ballard and Capitol Hill, Hot Cakes is a Seattle staple and my absolute favorite dessert place. The warm chocolate chip cookie with caramel drizzle is to-die-for, and all of my friends agree! Hot Cakes has been my go-to since High School and I love taking friends who are visiting from out of town.
Molly Moon’s ice cream is one of the most well-known ice-cream shops in Seattle. Hello Robin features Molly Moon’s ice cream as well as delicious cookies, with the option to make an ice-cream sandwich with the flavors of your choice. It is so good and very Instagram-worthy.
I recently discovered the newly-opened sweet shop on an Ad on my phone and knew I had to go. I’m a sucker for a snow cone & never seem to find any in Seattle. They have snow cones, cotton candy, italian sodas, and everything else you would ever need! It is located in Redmond – so not in Seattle, but worth the drive.
With three current locations, one of which is in SeaTac airport, and one on the way (in Pioneer Square), Lady Yum is the place to go if you’re looking for macarons. They have so many flavors and they all taste amazing. If you’re visiting, make sure to stop by and grab some before you’re flight!
Shug’s is a hot-spot for bloggers and Instagrammers to take photos…and rightfully so! Not only is it so good, but it is so cute inside. They have ice cream, shakes, floats, + more. I finally went after having it on my list for the longest time, and will definitely be back soon!
