I recently visited Florida for the first time since I was 5! I spent three days exploring Walt Disney World and had the best time. Keep reading for my first timers guide to Walt Disney World, I’m sharing lots of photos as well as tips and tricks for visiting the parks!
I highly recommend booking fast passes far in advance. They open up 60 days in advance, and they fill up quickly. I booked my trip about a month before going and some of the popular rides were already booked!
Make a game plan before going! Know which parks you’re going to visit on which days, so you don’t feel overwhelmed. I stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge and loved that they had shuttles to take you from each park – but if you don’t know what’s at each park, you may be confused/not know where to go! To make the most of your time I highly recommend figuring out where you want to go first.
Day 1 / Hollywood Studios & Animal Kingdom
We woke up early on the first day and headed to Hollywood Studios! The first ride we rode was Slinky Dog Dash – it was so fun!!! I would recommend getting a fast pass for this ride if you can, because the line is long. Toy Story Land was definitely one of my favorite areas, it was so cute and colorful! Also in Hollywood Studios is the popular Hollywood Tower of Terror as well as Rock n Rollercoaster.
Day 2 / Epcot & Hollywood Studios
Epcot was so fun and a must for adults! Before getting there I was pretty confused on what it actually is. It consists of rides, food, as well as the World Showcase which is a must-see. There are also lots of great Instagrammable spots! I loved Mission: SPACE the most in Epcot!
Day 3 / Magic Kingdom & Disney Springs
Magic Kingdom was the perfect way to spend our last day! I ate way too many corn dogs and churros and had so much fun riding all of the rides. We were gifted fast-passes to use on any rides and used them on Space Mountain, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, and Thunder Mountain. I highly recommend watching the “Happily Ever After” show! After spending the day at Magic Kingdom we went over to Disney Springs for dinner and shopping.

Thank you so much to Walt Disney World for providing me with complimentary park hopper tickets. All opinions are my own.
