One of the reasons I get so excited for October is because it’s the perfect excuse to watch Halloweentown – one of my favorite Halloween movies! A couple of years ago I found out that Halloweentown was filmed in St. Helens, Oregon – only about 2.5 hours from where I live. I’ve always wanted to go…and finally went last weekend!!
I’m so glad that I finally got to go see Halloweentown…especially in October. It was so fun seeing the taxi, the big pumpkin, the bus-stop sign, and so many other memorable things from the movie! If you do plan a trip to Halloweentown, I definitely recommend going on a weekend in October so you can take part in the festivals and activities they host. There was also fair food and games to play! On the day I went there was a Halloween parade. It does get so busy (and parking was crazy!) , but was so much fun.
The city also had plenty of “Instagrammable” spots that I took advantage of. For the well-known movie spots (such as the pumpkin & taxi) lines formed to take photos so that you could get shots without other people in them. Aside from the famous spots, there were also some pretty colored buildings that I loved and wanted to take photos with!
I posted a few videos on my Instagram Story (you can find them under the “fall” highlights) so make sure to go check those out.
Top / Cardigan / Skirt / Booties – this is one of my favorite outfits that I’ve worn this fall! It will definitely be worn lots more before winter arrives. I’m also planning on wearing it with some over-the-knee boots!
