< Transitional Pieces >

Does anyone else have a love/hate relationship with Zara? I feel like sometimes I go in there and find absolutely nothing. Other days I spend hundreds of dollars. This sweater was found on one of my hundreds-of-dollars-days. It was on sale and is so oversized and perfect!!! The color is so bright and definitely brightened up this gloomy day.

I am desperately waiting for spring and warm weather, so bring on the bright colors @everysinglestore so I can pretend that it’s not raining and 40 degrees. Transitional pieces are a must-have during this time of year. It’s too cold to wear dresses (even though I still do it everyday..oops!) yet a huge jacket isn’t always necessary. At the bottom of this post I have created a Lookbook featuring some transitional pieces that will help get you through this crazy time of year.

The dresses I included in the lookbook would all look great with/without tights, depending on the weather. I also included some bright colors, partly because I’m in denial that it’s not springtime yet, and because once it’s actually spring you will be able to wear them even more! I do love wearing bright colors in the winter though, I feel like they brighten up the sad/gloomy days. The short-sleeved pieces would all look so cute with a cardigan or sweater if it’s cold outside. I tried to incorporate only lightweight sweaters and cardigans so that you can still wear them in the springtime.

Thank you so much for reading & I hope that you have a great day!!
Also, thank you so much to Sissi X Peng for taking these photos. If you are in Seattle, contact her, she is amazing at taking photos and is so sweet!!!
